Setup & Compatibility

What it works with

The SHIVURR Core chills the water in your existing cold plunge tub, stock tank, or compatible container with suitable water connections. Maximum water volume: 50–60 gallons, according to the product label. It runs on a standard US 110V/60Hz outlet (US plug included).

Setup, step by step

The included printed manual has the exact steps for your unit. In general:

  1. Place the chiller on a level, stable surface with ventilation clearance around it.
  2. Connect the included hoses between the chiller and your tub's water connections using the included fittings.
  3. Make sure water is circulating before switching on the compressor — never run the pump dry.
  4. Plug into a grounded 110V/60Hz outlet. A GFCI outlet is recommended for equipment used near water.
  5. Set your target temperature on the digital controller. Cooling time depends on starting water temperature, volume, and ambient conditions.

Maintenance

  • Keep the inline filter clear of debris; service or replace the filter element per the manual.
  • Use clean water and rinse the system periodically.
  • Drain the system before freezing conditions or long-term storage.
